Agree what you are comparing

A shared decision needs shared definitions.

01

Name the purpose first

Two people can read the same feature list and be thinking of different tasks. Begin with a single sentence describing the intended use. Separate a team contact channel from an individual’s private account verification.

02

Give research a clear owner

Agree who will find the provider conditions and who will check the app’s official requirements. Keep these responsibilities distinct. Combining two sources into one vague assurance makes it harder to see an unanswered question.

03

Keep each person’s access separate

Research together without passing around passwords or recovery information. Where a service supports team access, read the actual permission model. Do not assume a shared number creates a safe shared account arrangement.

04

Record disagreement constructively

If one person considers a condition essential and another does not, keep that difference explicit. The comparison tool records findings; it does not decide your priorities. Unresolved conditions are a reason to ask more, not to invent a score.
