Use Discord’s current guidance
Discord’s official account-verification article says that verification uses a valid mobile number and that VoIP, burner and landline numbers cannot be used. This was checked on 29 October 2026. Do not interpret a virtual-number advertisement as a guarantee of acceptance.
A community contact has another purpose
A group may discuss how members reach moderators or coordinate an event. That communication choice is separate from Discord’s account-verification process. Keep private account credentials out of shared community records.
Read the actual error
Discord provides a phone-errors guide for issues when adding or changing a number. Follow the relevant official advice rather than repeatedly trying unrelated services. This site cannot see your account, validate your number or resolve platform restrictions.
Keep decisions reversible where possible
Before changing a contact arrangement, understand which service and which account setting you are changing. A note in Girexuno does not modify Discord. For account-specific assistance, use Discord’s support channel.
